TAPA FSR Self-Assessment

The easiest way to conduct an annual TAPA FSR self-assessment is to:

1. Make a copy of the TAPA FSR certification audit report to create the FSR self-assessment.

2. Change the auditor name and date.

3. Verify compliance to each requirement by looking at the evidence.

4. Update the comments written on the TAPA FSR self-assessment.

5. Be sure to identify and document opportunities for improvement.

6. Write the SCARs related to problems on the TAPA FSR self-assessment report.

7. Make all corrective actions necessary to eliminate the problems.

8. Update the self-assessment report and document the corrective actions.

9. Send the annual TAPA FSR self-assessment report to your certification auditor.

Remember: Be sure to write accurate comments regarding what was inspected to verify compliance. If a work procedure, policy, form, etc. is required, document the name and location of thee document. This technique will provide you immediate answers during the next TAPA FSR recertification audit.
